Patrick Hamilton, owner of The Globe Recording Studios and Bromo Music Publishing, was born in Brugge (Belgium) on 16 March 1963. Both his parents were musicians, so it wasn’t a surprise that one day he would become a musician too. He started piano and organ lessons at the age of seven. He studied classical music (piano, organ, harmony,... etc.) and jazz arranging at the Royal Musical High School in Gent. From 1981 he was working for Hammond as a demonstrator.

His carreer took a lift in 1990 when he became a member of the LSP-Band, a very popular Belgian band. Later on he also joined other bands like Radio 2-band, VTM-Soapband, Groove Collection, etc... As a keyboardplayer he played with a lot of famous artists like : Axelle Red, Helmut Lotti, Clouseau, Paul Michiels, Sandra Kim, J.Vincent Edwards, Johnny Logan, Coco Jr, Geena Lisa, Robert Mosuse, Plastic Bertrand, Lou & the Hollywood Bananas, Johan Verminnen,Tom Van Landuyt, Beverly Jo Scott, Bart Peeters, Jan Leyers, Els De Schepper, Edje Ska, Yasmine, Sofie, La Esterella, Philippe Robbrecht, Bart Herman, Jan De Cleir, Andrea Croonenberghs, Walter Grootaers, Jean Bosco Safari, Isabelle A, Sergio, Peter Koelewijn, Sonny O'Brien, Will Tura, Spark, Belle Perez, Guus Meeuwis, Spring, Kathleen (K3), Leki,... etc.

He wrote songs for La Sakhra, Udo, Sandra Kim, Monday Justice, Julia Gavrilova, White Jam, Antje Monteiro, Silk, Wendy van Wanten, Willy Sommers, Luc Steeno, Jakob Sveistrup, Christoff, Mario Caselli, Tanja Dexters, Johnny Logan, Kabouter Plop, Partyzone, Sergio, Quadriga, Bart Herman, Bart Kaëll, Pim, Ingeborg,... etc.

From around 1988 he also started working as a producer-engineer in a recording studio, something he always wanted to do. He took lessons studio-engineer in the Netherlands. After several hits he found the time was right to start his own (home) studio called The Roof studio in 1994. Everything went well and he produced a lot of artists as Bea van der Maat, Marisa (remember Baïlando,Vamos a la discoteca,...), Monday Justice (USA), 2Lips, Tri Pops (together with Phil Wilde (2unlimited, CB Milton, Kate Ryan,..)), Mario Caselli, Wendy van Wanten, Tanja Dexters, Willy Sommers, Johnny Logan, Woosh!, 2Charmed, VTM pop idols, VTM star academy, VTM X-Factor, Dracula (musical), La Sakhra,... etc. Nowadays he works a lot in the US, Japan, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands...

Patrick is travelling all around the world to produce and to write songs. As a studio-musician he played keyboards and made some arrangements on the latest album of Kate Ryan, Time Bandits, L5 (France), Kabouter Plop, Silverene, Jim (NL)... etc

In 2002 his dream came true and he founded The Globe, a professional recording studio and music company.

In 2007 he had three #1 singles , several top ten's and two #1 albums and was awarded with 3 Platinum and 2 Gold awards.At the moment, Patrick and his team are one of the most important songwriters/producers in Belgium.
