Gary played guitar in bands in the north of England up until the age of about 23.Then he moved to London to try and make a succes of his career but for quite some time still ended up playing the pubs and clubs until he landed a recording deal with Miles Copeland nothing really happened.Gary went on to tour with different bands and ended up doing George Michaels Faith tour (as musical director) ,then joined Nik Kershaws band,toured with Elton John and finished his touring career with Climie Fisher.
After that he moved into writing and production which took him to live in Miami and then on to Malibu where he now lives.

Gary has been an integral part of two of the most successful production companies in the industry: Stock Aitken Waterman - creating massive hits for Donna Summer, Kylie Minogue, Bananarama, Rick Astley etc. and Metrophonic for Cher (the Believe album), Enrique Iglesias, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart and many Spanish artists, to name a few. Prior to his work with these production companies he has independently produced artists of the highest caliber including David Bowie, Simply Red, Donna Summer, Lionel Richie, Bananarama, Billy Preston and many others. He is now venturing into writing and producing the music for T.V and film for his new production company Bu-town Productions.
